Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 28, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Sharp Money uses on sharp-money.com and why.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They can be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (stored until they expire or you delete them).
What we use, and what we don't
We keep this deliberately minimal. Sharp Money does not run third-party advertising trackers or cross-site analytics cookies. The cookies and local storage in use fall into two categories:
Strictly necessary
- Cloudflare Turnstile — when you submit our newsletter form, Turnstile may set a cookie or use similar device-signal technology to verify you're not a bot, without showing you an intrusive puzzle. This is required for the opt-in form to function and to prevent spam signups. See Cloudflare's Turnstile documentation.
- Cloudflare security cookies — our host, Cloudflare, may set cookies necessary for basic security and abuse protection at the network level.
Functional
- Standard web server logs and caching handled by Cloudflare's edge network to serve pages quickly and reliably. These are not used to build advertising profiles.
Third-party newsletter platform
Once you submit the newsletter signup form, your email is sent to Beehiiv, our email service provider, to manage delivery and subscription preferences. Beehiiv may use its own cookies or tracking pixels within the emails it sends (for example, to measure open rates) under its own privacy practices — see Beehiiv's Privacy Policy.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Because we don't rely on non-essential cookies for the site to function, blocking cookies should not affect your ability to read Sharp Money — though it may prevent the newsletter form's bot-verification widget from working.
Changes
If the cookies or technologies we use change, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
